Rainy Passage This the original Clays' Ferry Bridge, near Lexington, Kentucky. It was in place long before the newer, taller, boring one was added to Interstate 75 in the 1960s. It is at the base of a hill, near the waters of the Kentucky River. I have always had an inexplicable affinity for it -- perhaps it is its anachronistic and melancholy presence. I tried to communicate that feel with this shot.
